By David Jackson

Cooking can be enjoyable even if you have no idea what you are doing. It is good to try out new recipes to make fun meals from time to time. If you do this repeatedly, you will soon become an expert in cooking. For example, if you have never tasted or prepared the Spicy Gochujang Wings, you can try to prepare them. Your first trial may be messy, but you will have given it a shot. Hence, people that love cooking should use the following recipe to prepare this chicken.

When wings are prepared the right way, they become so delicious. Since cooks have their different ways of cooking, some will prefer using their recipes while others will try a new recipe from the web. A good example is marinating the chicken using Asian red pepper paste and baking the pieces rather than frying them. This way, you will enjoy a healthier and tastier meal.

If you like spices, this recipe will help you prepare the best chicken ever. The recipe involves marinating the wings using the gochujang red pepper paste that comes from Korean origin. The red pepper paste is then mixed with some molasses made from pomegranate to add flavor. These make the chicken to develop a sweet and spicy taste. Other flavors such as fresh ginger, vinegar, honey, and garlic can be used to add sweetness to the chicken.

The preparation time is usually fifteen minutes. Then, the chicken cooks for thirty to thirty-five minutes. The ingredients you need for the cooking include fresh ginger that has been grated, red pepper paste, honey, plum vinegar, pomegranate molasses, and pieces of chicken meat, paprika, toasted and ground cashews, sesame seeds that have been roasted and salt and paper to taste.

The next step is preparing the marinade. Mix the red pepper, ginger, vinegar and pomegranate molasses in a bowl until you form a smooth paste. Then, taste the seasoning and adjust it to your taste. After that, scoop about a third of the marinade and put it in a separate bowl for basting.

Then, put the sauce or marinade into a plastic bag that can be zipped. Add the chicken pieces and zip the bag. Then shake the mixture to allow the sauce to mix thoroughly and coat the chicken fully. Let the chicken marinate for thirty minutes before you bake it.

Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Spray the baking sheets using canola oil or the cooking spray of your choice. Then, place the chicken pieces on the sheets evenly to allow them to get maximum heat. Leave them to bake for thirty minutes until the outer layer becomes crispy.

Halfway through the cooking, flip the chicken pieces using tongs. Then, use the marinade you set aside to spread on the pieces. Leave them to cook and become soft. After the meat has fully cooked, remove it from the oven and sprinkle it with the sesame seeds, paprika, and cashews. Serve yourself and enjoy your meal.
