Many People Love Making One Dish Chicken Recipes

By Ines Flores

Chickens are a subspecies of the Red Jungle fowl and one of the most common domestic animals. They breed fast and do not require too much up keep. It is no wonder that the one dish chicken recipes are becoming very popular.

One such dish that everyone enjoys and is quick to make is the Chicken Tetrazzini. Unfortunately it takes about an hour to prepare but there is enough to put in the freezer and take out for another meal. All that one needs is 500 grams shell noodles, mushrooms, bacon, soup powder, evaporated milk and of course finely chopped meat, as well as 375 ml milk and grated cheese.

The protein helps with muscle development as well as growth and also helps to keep a healthy weight. Once finished eating a bowl of soup, one will feel restful and this is due to the high amino acids or tryptophan. For those that suffer from mild cases of depression this meat is consumed to increase the serotonin levels which help with the moods and stress. It is also beneficial in helping one to fall into sleep much easier.

It is entirely up to oneself as to what to eat; anything in moderation is good for the body. White meat might not have the benefits as the red as it lacks in minerals and vitamins. In order for the body to function correctly everyone does need to ingest small amounts of these every day.

Everyone needs to have selenium in their system. It has a high antioxidant property which is very important in protecting the cells throughout the body from being damaged. Many that suffer from arthritis, infertility as well as asthma are given doses of this. However if taken in large doses over a long period of time it is thought to increase the risk of non-melanoma cancer of the skin. Anything that is over the 400 micrograms daily in adults is considered to be an overdose. The meat will cover the recommended amount as they are high in this mineral.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and mix the margarine and crumbs together and press into a pie dish about the size of 20 cm by 20cm the depth must be more than 5cm. Only bake this for about ten minutes. In the meantime make the filling by stirring the beaten egg yolks into the pre made white sauce. All the chicken also pre- cooked and the asparagus and stir in with the rest of the ingredients. Leave out the egg white and cheese as this will be added later.

Whisk the egg whites until very stiff and spoon this over the top. If one wants cheese sprinkle this on the top over the egg whites. Leave in the oven for twenty minutes until the topping has turned a light brown.

One dish recipes also leave much less dishes and utensils that will need to be washed at a later time, normally by you. They are a great way to teach young kids how to cook and this can be a bonding time for all. The more time that one is able to spend with the family the better for all especially in the hectic lives many are faced with.
